Atmosphere 9/10 Super cool and unique - botanical themed - atmosphere. Nice design elements and interior. Drinks 10/10 Drinks were spot on. Special presentation and deliciously mixed. Definitely try the Martini - they have their unique melon “balls” which they put in the cocktail and it looks super nice. Also the “DNA” was delicious with good amount of liquor Service 10/10 Very professional and well dressed staff. Bartenders definitely know what they are doing! Price 6/10 $25 per drink - but well deserved for this experience!

One of my favorite speakeasy bars in NYC! I love the vibes and the staff are so incredibly nice. We got the Swinging Neckbreaker and Illusions. I would definitely recommend this for a girl's night!

Drinks were all really good 👍🏻 with the clear ice cube and lighting. It wasn't super crowded, very spacious and not too loud. Like other people says, service, atmosphere drinks are 10/10 but prices are pretty high.

Came here at opening on a Friday evening, and had no problem securing seats at the bar. The space is very sleek, with plants covering the walls and behind the bar. The staff were all very friendly, and seemed pleased to walk us through the cocktail menu and make their suggestions. Many of the cocktails come with a bit of production value, and are interesting to watch the bartenders prepare. We especially enjoyed the Cola Nerve Tonic and Illusions. Both food and drink are pricey, but in line with other high-end bars in the area.

So the atmosphere here is the key thing. Great music selection and a cool underground vibe. That said, it’s quite expensive all things considered. The “steak & eggs” dish is incredible. The drinks I ordered felt half sized. Maybe that’s because I drank them so quickly. There’s an ice cube that you would expect if you were sipping whiskey but you aren’t, it’s a mixed drink mini-sized at $25+ a pop. Fortunately the mirrors that the drinks are served on are set up for incredibly attractive photos (see picture attached). Outside of taking selfies it’s not clear why the drinks are on mirrors. Are you supposed to do lines off the mirror while you drink? That’s not my thing but seems like if you were up for it they might let you 🤷‍♂️ It’s worth stopping by but make sure you just got your paycheck!

I can’t believe I didn’t know this little cute speakeasy bar until now! It’s super cool vibe and there are great Asian inspired cocktails! You can enjoy drinks even if you don’t have reservation at COTE steakhouse, so check it out!

Came here for drinks around 9pm on a Friday night and had to put our name down for a table. There were around 8 parties ahead of us at the time. We waited for about 40mins before we got a table. We left the bar around 11:30pm and there were open tables then, so you could walk into this bar later at the night. Overall the idea and vibe were cool, but the chairs and lighting were not ideal.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Undercote, the speakeasy located beneath Cote restaurant in New York City, and I was blown away by the entire experience. From the moment I arrived, I was transported back in time to the glamour and elegance of a bygone era. The decor is impeccable, with plush velvet seating and dimly-lit ambiance that perfectly sets the mood for a night of sophistication and indulgence. The cocktails are expertly crafted and truly top-notch - I highly recommend the "Manhattan," which was expertly balanced and flawlessly executed. But what truly sets Undercote apart is the service. From the moment I walked in the door, the staff was attentive and welcoming, making me feel right at home. They were knowledgeable and helpful when it came to choosing the perfect drink, and their attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the experience. Overall, I highly recommend Undercote for anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable night out. This speakeasy truly lives up to its reputation as a class act, and I can't wait to return. Five stars all the way!
